
Key responsibilities of the Advocacy Council include:
Support the Secretariat, as necessary, to define clear roles and responsibilities to eliminate overlaps.
Support the mapping of where other agencies are delivering similar programmes and identifying gaps and overlaps.
Promote the sharing and use of data to inform programme development.
Ensure our interventions are best suited for target populations and are developed in consultation with a diverse cross-section of you, always ensuring the amplification of young people most often left behind.
Support the communication of progress to partners and youth.
Represent the organization and the organization's positions at forums, seminars and meetings.
Our current work
Adolescent and youth health and well-being is a significant strategic pillar of JYAN, as our established footing and continued advocacy in this area remains urgent and necessary.
